Barista Central Kitchen Kadawatha
We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:
- COMMIS I
- COMMIS II
- TRAINEE KITCHEN
REQUIREMENTS
- Age above 18 years
- Basic knowledge of pastry and bakery preparation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- 1–2 years' experience in a similar capacity will be an added advantage (COMMIS I & COMMIS II)
- Relevant vocational or professional qualifications will be an added advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
COMMIS I
- Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery items according to standards
- Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff when required
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
- Support smooth daily kitchen operations
COMMIS II
- Assist in preparing pastries, desserts, and bakery products
- Follow recipes and kitchen guidelines accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Support senior chefs in daily food production
TRAINEE KITCHEN
- Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks
- Learn pastry and bakery production procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Support the team in daily kitchen operations
