Associate - Tax
Key Requirements
- Registered with a professional body ICASL/CIMA/ACCA/CPA/CMA or following a degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Prior experience in Tax will be an added advantage.
- Flexibility to be able to work long hours if required.
- Committed to a two-year training program towards a recognised accounting designation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients in various industries in the conduct of various tax and corporate services (e.g., prepare and file tax returns, tax compliance reviews, tax consultancy, assist during investigations, transfer pricing, incorporation, dissolution, tax ruling processes, etc.).
- Utilize appropriate skills and software to prepare tax returns, draft reports, opinions, and other relevant forms, documents, and papers.
- Research and consult with colleagues and/or superiors on various tax and corporate matters.
- Establish and enhance relationships with appropriate client personnel and officers of various government agencies.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, seniors, managers, and other members of the Firm.
- Provide effective conflict resolution, as needed.
