TRAINEE FOOD & BEVERAGE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee, Food & Beverage to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities
- Support daily food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, and event spaces.
- Assist in serving food and beverages while ensuring service standards are maintained.
- Prepare mise en place and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth guest service.
- Handle basic guest inquiries and provide courteous assistance.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, buffets, and event spaces.
Skills & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of food and beverage service is an added advantage.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
