VICE PRESIDENT - EQUITY RESEARCH

We are seeking a highly accomplished professional to lead our Equity Research Division within a dynamic and fast-paced financial services environment. This role will be instrumental in shaping the firm’s equity research strategy and research standards, driving research excellence, and delivering actionable equity insights.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive global and local macroeconomic, financial, and equity market research to support investment decision-making.
- Lead and set the strategic direction for the Equity Research function.
- Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality research products and insights.
- Provide leadership in generating equity investment ideas and recommendations across sectors and listed companies.
- Provide senior management with insights on equity developments, sector trends and strategic opportunities.
- Oversee financial modelling, valuation (including DCF), and scenario analysis to assess opportunities and risks.
- Ensure timely production of comprehensive company and industry research reports.
- Collaborate with Sales and external partners to enhance research visibility through traditional and digital channels.
- Represent the organization at investor forums, presentations, and webinars.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing research team.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CIMA / CFA / ACCA / CA (ICASL) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Equity Research at a managerial level.
- Proven experience in leading or managing a team.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modelling expertise.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
