ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT – CREDIT CONTROL
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Assistant Accountant to strengthen our Credit Control function at our Head Office.
Key Requirements:
- Part-qualified or professionally qualified in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferably below 40 years of age.
- Strong experience in debtor’s management, credit control and recovery of outstanding balances.
- Ability to effectively manage customer accounts and take appropriate action to ensure timely recovery of dues, including coordinating legal action where necessary.
- Good knowledge of internal controls, accounting procedures and proper financial systems.
- Competent in computerized accounting systems and accounting software.
- Good analytical, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and deal confidently with customers and other stakeholders.
