We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Sports Data & Content Executive to join our team. SPORTS DATA & CONTENT EXECUTIVE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare the daily schedule for the Sports paper using reliable sports data sources.
- Prepare and maintain sports data and Excel files within publication deadlines.
- Verify sports fixtures, odds, and results using official websites and other trusted sources.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in sports data before publication.
- Review, update, and finalize all pages of the Sports paper prior to publication.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- Ability and willingness to work a rotational shift schedule of two weeks of day shifts and two weeks of night shifts each month.
- Passion for sports and good knowledge of local and international sporting events.
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification. A Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; candidates who are highly skilled in Excel and enjoy working extensively with spreadsheets are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Previous experience in sports data, sports publications or data processing will be an added advantage.
