ASSISTANT COMPANY SECRETARY

OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS

Join a well-established professional services firm providing Corporate Secretarial, Registrar, Accountancy, and Taxation services to a Group of Companies, including Public Listed Companies.

This role is for experienced corporate secretarial professionals ready to make a meaningful impact.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Maintain statutory registers and records
  • Prepare resolutions and handle statutory filings
  • Coordinate Board and Committee meetings
  • Draft accurate minutes and corporate documentation
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders
  • Support compliance and corporate governance functions

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Good knowledge of corporate secretarial practices and statutory compliance requirements
  • Experience in maintaining statutory registers, preparing resolutions, coordinating meetings, and drafting minutes
  • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other professional business applications
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a corporate secretarial environment, preferably with exposure to Public Listed Companies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Member of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland (formerly ICSA – UK)
  • Or a Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Sri Lanka
  • Or an Attorney-at-Law
