SENIOR TEAM LEADER – AIRFARES & TICKETING

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Strong GDS Knowledge
You must be confident in at least:
- Amadeus
- Galileo / Travelport
- Sabre
You should be able to:
- Price itineraries
- Issue tickets
- Handle reissues (date changes, reroutes on the same airline)
- Process refunds
- Issue and refund EMDs
- Manage queues and resolve PNR issues
Practical Airfare & Ticketing Experience
(Not deep IATA theory — real-life working knowledge)
- Understanding penalties and tax changes
- Cabin upgrades / downgrades
- Rerouting on the same airline
- Basic fare rule checks
- Avoiding ADM-risk mistakes
Senior Leadership Responsibilities
- Support and guide junior ticketing staff
- Check accuracy before ticketing
- Teach GDS best practices
- Maintain high standards & consistency
