Join our Team as a Senior Garment Technologist
Location - Colombo 3, Sri Lanka.
Job Role
- Managing all aspects of the technical process of the garment from its Development to Final Production Delivery.
- To understand Design/Product expectations and facilitate the conversion into physical garment form with knowledge and understanding of:
- Production Feasibility
- Pattern Knowledge
- Fabric behaviors
- Cost Impact
- Safety Requirements
- Testing Criteria
- Customer Standards
- Providing technical solutions to manufacturers where required and be able to work with multiple manufacturers simultaneously.
- Key contributor to the order execution time and action plan achievement.
- Flexibility of product knowledge - Kids to adults/Active to Casual/Woven to Jersey/Non-Wash to Wash/Core line to fashion.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the industry with experience of bulk production (specialized in woven products).
- Relevant Degree or professional qualification.
- Exceptional communication skills in English (Both verbal and written).
- Strong negotiation and Analytical skills.
- Ability to cope with pressure.
- Should have Leadership/Teamwork & Numerical Skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office & knowledge on ERP system will be an added advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of global manufacturing and operations capabilities.
