CUSTOMER SUPPORT SERVICE OFFICER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt and professional assistance to customers regarding shipment inquiries, bookings and transportation
- Handle inbound calls, emails and other communication channels to address customer queries and resolve issues effectively
- Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, sales and finance to ensure smooth cargo handling and timely delivery
- Assist in tracking and tracing shipments, updating customers on shipment status, and providing relevant documentation as required
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions and cargo-related data in our systems
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Passed G.C.E. O/L, High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics, customer service or related fields will be an added advantage
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a cargo, freight, or transportation environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information.
- Familiarity with cargo handling procedures, shipping documentation, and logistics terminology
- Proficiency in computer applications such as, Microsoft Office and email.
