ASSISTANT LECTURER / LECTURER- ENGLISH
IIT is looking for a dedicated Assistant Lecturer / Lecturer to deliver English language and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to Foundation and Extended Foundation students.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Deliver English Language and Academic Skills modules to Foundation and Extended Foundation students.
- Teach academic writing, report writing, presentations, referencing, and effective academic communication.
- Develop students' critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
- Prepare and conduct assessments, examinations, and learning activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and learning materials.
- Deliver classes online and/or onsite as required.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Degree with First Class or Second-Class Upper Division from a recognized university in English, Business Management, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of English language teaching and English for Academic Purposes.
- Experience in academic writing, critical thinking, or Foundation-level teaching will be an advantage.
- Good computer literacy and experience with online teaching tools.
