Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for the marine industry? We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the sales and market expansion of Outboard & Inboard Engines and marine solutions across Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with boat builders, dealers, government institutions, commercial fishing operators, tourism operators, and corporate customers.
- Promote Inboard & Outboard Engines and related marine products to prospective customers.
- Timely submission of quotations, tenders, sales forecasts, and periodic sales reports.
- Coordinate with the technical and after-sales service teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Professional Qualification in Marketing (CIM), Business Management, Sales Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the marine industry, preferably in marine engines, boats, or related marine equipment. Experience in Outboard & Inboard Engine sales with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth will be a distinct advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Sound commercial awareness with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
- Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel island-wide.
