ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results - oriented cost controller to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will be play a crucial role in optimizing our financial performance by effectively managing and controlling all aspects of our food and beverage costs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular cost analysis of food, beverage, and packing/general expenses.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to food and beverage costs.
- Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly/quarterly/bi annual/annual costing reports for management.
- Implement cost-saving measures, such as menu engineering, inventory optimization, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in cost control.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the F&B industry preferably in Quick Service Restaurants, Dine in restaurants and cafes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Experience with inventory management systems (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work location – Nugegoda.
- Age below 30 years.
