INTERN PROCUREMENT
We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern - Procurement to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.
- Assist in sourcing quotations and comparing supplier prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and supplier information.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and ensure timely fulfilment.
- Assist in monitoring purchase orders, deliveries, and outstanding procurement requests.
- Support supplier communication and follow up on deliveries and documentation.
- Assist with procurement reports, data analysis, and other administrative tasks as required.
Skills & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Good organisational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- A proactive and responsible attitude with a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
