We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Procurement Executive to join our team and contribute to the efficient flow of materials, services and resources that support our manufacturing operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in procurement, supplier management and cross-functional collaboration within a globally growing organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, commercially aware and committed to supporting operational excellence through effective procurement practices. The position is based at our factory in Badalgama, Negombo

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for finding vendors, sourcing, negotiating, & Spare parts, engineering, & production consumables from overseas and local vendors.
- Evaluate vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the purchase.
- Monitoring the import processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements such as BOI, SLSI & TRC
- Responsible for arranging and coordinating letters of credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfers (TT).
- Arranging reports and presentations for the Material Management meetings and other procurement-related meetings.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Team and the supplier to arrange the technical reviews and malfunction-related discussions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or higher qualification in supply chain management/procurement
- 2-3 years of working experience in the similar capacity to handle the importation of machinery, spare parts and factory consumables.
- Result-oriented self-motivated team player.
- Strong negotiation skills, good business acumen, excellent problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Working experience in ERP systems
- Experience in the tire industry will be an added advantage
