QA Engineer
01 ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our quality assurance team. You will own quality for assigned modules — planning and executing manual and automated test cases, identifying defects, and safeguarding overall software quality across our web and mobile applications, while mentoring junior testers and continuously improving our test frameworks.
02 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own QA for specific modules and features, from test planning through execution and sign-off.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated UI, API, and mobile scripts within the regression pack.
- Analyze test results, prioritize defects by impact and severity, and drive timely retesting and closure.
- Contribute to improving test frameworks, test data strategies, and environment usage.
- Mentor QA Testers and Associate QA Engineers, sharing best practices and reviewing their test cases.
- Design comprehensive test scenarios covering functionality, regression, compatibility, and edge cases.
- Work with Developers and BAs to identify test impacts of changes, edge cases, and risk areas.
- Maintain test metrics — coverage, pass rates, defect leakage — and report status each sprint and release.
- Use AI-assisted tools for test design, data generation, log review, and reporting within security guidelines.
- Continuously grow in advanced testing techniques, automation frameworks, and product domain expertise.

NICE TO HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 2+ years in software testing. Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, mobile app testing with Appium, security testing principles, and experience leading or mentoring QA teams are all an advantage.
