Manager - Human Resources
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our team as Manager – Human Resources.
The selected candidate will partner closely with business leaders and oversee HR operations of a group of companies to drive people strategies aligned with organizational objectives while managing the full spectrum of HR activities, including workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, compliance, talent management, and capability development.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders on HR strategy, workforce planning, organizational design, and people initiatives.
- Manage HR budgeting and end-to-end employee life cycle management.
- Lead employee relations, disciplinary matters, and grievance management, ensuring policy and legal compliance.
- Drive performance management, promotions, and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure effective HR reporting, compliance, governance, payroll, and HR operations.
- Manage employee exits, attrition analysis, and retention initiatives.
- Coordinate learning & development, talent management, and succession planning.
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a fully qualified HR professional qualification.
- MBA/MSc will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of HR managerial experience (Assistant Manager or Managerial), HR Business Partnering or a similar generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and HR operations.
- Strong capability in data management and HR analytics.
- Sound understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple HR priorities.
