About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts payable, invoice reconciliation and supplier account maintenance.
- Payroll and credit card processing.
- Month-end journals, bank entries and reconciliations.
- Preparation of P&L statements, balance sheets and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Processing and managing employee reimbursements.
- Supporting month-end accounts and financial reporting.
- Identifying process improvements and supporting ad-hoc management requests.
About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance Management from a recognized University and Professional or near-completed accounting qualification (e.g. ICASL, CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Minimum 5 years of working experience.
- Possesses high level of Excel skills essential for analysing data and providing meaningful information.
- Good command of English.
- Background in bookkeeping and highly competent in using Xero’s full functionality across AP, payroll, reporting, custom templates, etc., Microsoft Office, and processing of administrative tasks.
- The following experience will be highly regarded:
- Experience with US, UK or Australian tax frameworks (e.g. income taxes, GST/VAT, sales tax, employment taxes)
- Experience in a recurring revenue-based organisation (e.g. telecommunications or software)
