VICE PRESIDENT – EQUITY RESEARCH
LOCATION : COLOMBO 08
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Equity Research at a managerial level.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a research team.
- Strong knowledge of equity markets, financial modelling, valuation, and DCF analysis.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and investment research capabilities.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA / CIMA / ACCA / CA (ICASL) will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the strategic direction of the Equity Research function.
- Conduct and oversee macroeconomic, financial, sector, and equity market research.
- Generate equity investment ideas and recommendations across sectors and listed companies.
- Oversee financial modelling, valuation, DCF, and scenario analysis.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality company and industry research reports.
- Provide senior management with insights on market developments, sector trends, and investment opportunities.
- Represent the organization at investor forums, presentations, and webinars.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Equity Research team.
