ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
J.N. INTERIORS (PVT) LTD is a leading interior design and civil construction company that has earned a strong reputation for excellence in Sri Lanka since 1998.
We are looking for a dedicated, energetic, and self-motivated Accounts Executive to join our team at our Head Office in Colombo 10. The ideal candidate should be committed, detail-oriented, and eager to grow with our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely posting of financial transactions.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and monthly financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and schedules as required by management.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain petty cash records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Assist with audits, tax documentation, and other finance-related activities.
- Perform any other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or AAT will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or ERP systems).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
