Finance Executive
Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Executive to join Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 16 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and Maldives including the US$1.4 Billion investment in Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams.
Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise management on new areas of process improvements in cost savings.
- Review internal controls of the organization and recommendation for improvements.
- Prepare monthly management information with commentary.
- Assist in the preparation financial reports.
- Prepare annual plan and reforecast.
- Prepare commentary on P&L variances to be presented at monthly financial reviews.
- Prepare month end management or group reporting.
- Provide information to all stakeholders as and when required.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess
- Part qualification in accounting from a recognized institution.
- 2 years' work experience in similar capacity.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
