The Company invites applications for the post of Assistant Manager – Transport & Logistics at our Head Office in Colombo.

We are looking for an ideal candidate with a strong motor mechanical background who demonstrates a solid grasp of industry standards, excellent people management skills, and a keen analytical mind.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Transport & Logistics in planning, directing, and managing the overall transportation facility and vehicle fleet.
  • Oversee fleet maintenance and technical health, leveraging mechanical expertise to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
  • Ensure transportation services meet the operational needs of the business and internal users.
  • Support the achievement of optimal service delivery through efficient transport planning and coordination.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance transportation efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to cost control and technical cost-effectiveness within the transport and maintenance functions.
  • Handle people management and departmental administrative responsibilities related to transport operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Transportation / Logistics Operations from a recognized Institution/ University.
  • Diploma in Automobile Engineering is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of overall experience in the field of Transportation & Logistics, including experience in Automobile Engineering.
