About Us
Innovis Engineering is a growing technology company based in Sri Lanka, delivering high-quality IT services and software development solutions.
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Project Manager to coordinate our development team and ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with requirements.
What you’ll do
- Project oversight: Oversee project operations, priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.
- Task creation and assignment: Translate requirements into clear, actionable Jira tasks and assign them to the appropriate developers.
- Project tracking: Maintain complete and up-to-date project timelines, backlogs, and task statuses.
- Blocker and risk monitoring: Monitor relevant Slack channels and proactively follow up when questions, blockers, delays, or risks arise.
- Risk escalation: Escalate risks early and provide with clear updates and recommended next steps.
- Delivery readiness: Ensure solutions are ready for delivery, with any remaining limitations or follow-up actions clearly documented, assigned, and communicated.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English: Comfortable reading, writing, and speaking.
- Your Skills, Not Just Your CV: Forget about traditional résumés. We’re interested in seeing your skills in action.
- Team Spirit: Ability to collaborate, communicate, and balance patience with assertiveness.
- Eagerness to Learn: Familiarity with Node.js, Angular, and Python is a plus, but training will be provided if you’re keen to learn.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Jira and experience working with Slack.
