CHIEF PHARMACIST
HEALTHCARE SECTOR

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent professional qualification
- Registered Pharmacist with the relevant professional authority
- Minimum 4 years of experience in hospital pharmacy operations, including one year of leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices, regulatory standards, and medication safety
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the hospital dispensary
- Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and hospital policies
- Maintain proper storage, handling, and inventory control of pharmaceuticals
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and hospital procedures
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of medicines and related supplies
- Maintain accurate dispensing and inventory records
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department
