Finance Executive (Financial Reporting)

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards, IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of General Ledger records, including timely balance sheet and trial balance reconciliation.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts, management reports and Board-level financial reporting, ensuring proper documentation and audit trails.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate accurate financial reporting and provide required information and supporting documentation.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, reviewing opportunities to improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Contribute to finance and business transformation projects, including system development, SAP, IFRS 17 implementation, core insurance systems, statutory requirements and digital payment/collection initiatives.
Qualifications & Pre-requisites
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Commerce/Management from a UGC approved university.
- Professional qualification in corporate level in CA/Management Level in CIMA/Strategic Level in ACCA/Strategic Level CMA.
- Age below 30 years.
Relevant Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Finance field.
Skills, Attributes and Behaviour
- Thorough knowledge of Accounting Standards, Laws and regulation relating to Finance.
- Ability to work autonomously by making sensible and well-informed decisions.
- Capable of good time management in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Be a lead proponent in driving a collaborative culture across finance and other business functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related business applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills aligned with business requirements.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
