Join our team as an HR Manager, responsible for managing employee relations, welfare, payroll and compensation. Conduct individual and team meetings, address employee concerns, monitor performance, and foster a positive work environment. Play a key role in reviewing and updating HR policies to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness, while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field preferred; CIPM/CIPD or equivalent also considered.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labour law and HR compliance.
- Experience in employee relations, disciplinary and grievance handling.
- HRIS experience preferred; Gallery HR is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and write English, Sinhala and Tamil.
- QSR, retail or hospitality experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead, guide and monitor the performance of the HR team.
- Take ownership of employee relations, welfare, grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Review and improve HR policies, processes, controls and documentation.
- Oversee recruitment, payroll and attendance management.
- Manage and improve the use of Gallery HR / HRIS.
- Support outlet managers and visit outlets when required.
- Report key HR matters and department performance to management.
Location: Bambalapitiya, Colombo 04.
Travel: Visits to Crepe Runner outlets across Sri Lanka as required.
Shift Time: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
