EXECUTIVE - DATA PROTECTION
JOB PROFILE
- Oversee and ensure the organization’s compliance with applicable data protection regulations such as PDPA and GDPR
- Create, update, and enforce data protection policies and procedures across the organization
- Handle incidents related to data breaches, including reporting to authorities and managing corrective actions
- Perform regular audits to evaluate the effectiveness of data protection measures and identify areas for improvement
- Act as the point of contact for data protection authorities, regulatory bodies, and internal/external stakeholders
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree or Diploma in a related field, with certification in Data Protection (CIPP, CDPO, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (PDPA, GDPR), with experience in managing compliance and performing audits
- One year of experience in data protection or a similar compliance-focused role, preferably in a regulated environment like healthcare
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and chair data protection committees, with strong decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage different stakeholders, handle data breach incidents, and propose risk mitigation solutions
