Finance Executive (Contract Basis)

Job Duties & Responsibilities;
- Manage day-to-day financial operations and transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with applicable policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, Board presentations and financial analyses within stipulated timeframes.
- Assist in preparing IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 compliance, including financial data validation, reconciliations, system testing and related reporting activities.
- Coordinate and support annual audits, Annual Reports, AGM-related financial information and statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare and submit regulatory and financial reports to the Ministry, Central Bank and other relevant authorities in accordance with prescribed deadlines.
- Prepare for investment reconciliations and SAP-based finance activities, investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution and accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications & Pre-requisites;
- Bachelor's Degree recognized by the UGC in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration (Finance, Accounting) And Professional qualification at corporate level in CA Sri Lanka/ Management level in CMA Sri Lanka/ Strategic level in CMA.
- Age below 30 years.
Relevant Experience;
- 1-2 years of experience in Finance field
Skills, Attributes and Behaviour;
- Excellent communication skills with good analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiar in SAP environment would be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
