EXECUTIVE, LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Executive, Learning & Development to join Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo.
Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 16 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and Maldives including the US$ 1.4 Billion investment in Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams.
Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct need-based training programmes on various skill areas pertinent to core departments.
- Assist in the employee induction programme.
- Develop innovative and interactive methods of delivering training programmes.
- Assist in the selection of departmental trainers, and train and develop them through on-going workshops and monthly meetings.
- Assist in external hotel familiarization tours.
- Source external trainers depending on the needs of the employees
- Collaborate with L&D team members in developing new and up to date training programmes.
- Maintain training records.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- A degree in Hospitality / Tourism Management / Human Resources or Business Management from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar capacity.
- Preferably, with experience at the Food & Beverage Executive level.
- Professional qualification in Training will be an added advantage.
- Excellent command of English is mandatory, both verbal and written.
- Good presentation skills with an outgoing personality.
- Excellent Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
