KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote and introduce the company's new product to hardware shops, construction companies, contractors, builders and construction sites.
- Identify potential customers and develop new business relationships.
- Explain the product's features, benefits, applications and value to customers.
- Support the development and implementation of sales and marketing activities.
- Follow up with potential customers, inquiries, quotations, samples and orders.
- Maintain regular communication and good relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Maintain records of customer visits, sales activities, leads and follow-ups.
- Achieve assigned sales and customer development targets.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a similar role is preferred.
- Experience in the hardware, construction, building materials, or related industry will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to approach new customers and confidently introduce products.
- Motorcycle or vehicle with a valid Sri Lankan driving license required.
