Seeking a Visionary PRINCIPAL (Nugegoda Branch)
To provide dynamic and visionary leadership that drives academic excellence and fosters an inspiring, student-centered learning environment. The Principal ensures high standards of teaching and learning, empowers staff performance, and upholds the values and reputation of the Royal Institute while guiding students toward holistic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to elevate academic excellence and student achievement through the development of high-performing academic and support teams
- Empower and guide staff to achieve institutional goals and values to deliver excellence throughout
- Ensure a safe, secure and supportive environment for students, staff and all stakeholders
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability to safeguard school assets and uphold institutional standards
- Lead the onboarding and integration of new staff into the school's culture and operational framework
- Monitor and evaluate collaboratively with management the staff performance with clear objective and performance-driven standards
- Oversee financial discipline of the branch
- Uphold and enforce institutional policies and procedures with consistency, integrity and professionalism
Skills & Capabilities
- A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Proven experience in a senior academic leadership role (e.g., Vice Principal)
- Strong knowledge of curriculum management and educational standards
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff performance and professionalism and student discipline effectively
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with parents and the school community
- High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to educational excellence
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage
- Strong administrative, business management and digital literacy skills
