Job Summary
- Develop and formulate new paint and coating products in line with market requirements and organizational objectives.
- Improve and optimize existing product formulations to enhance performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
- Plan, execute, and document laboratory experiments, trials, and evaluations for product development projects.
- Perform raw material evaluations and identify alternative materials to improve product quality, sustainability, and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure all developed products comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
- Provide technical support to Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing teams regarding product performance and technical issues.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Polymer Science from a reputed university
- Minimum 1 - 3 years experience in similar capacity
- Prior experience in chemical laboratory testing will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of maintaining formal R&D records
- Knowledge of the ISO certification process and SLS procedures
