Executive - Stores
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all records and documentation relevant to the warehouse contemporaneously.
- Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.
- Communicate the stock status to relevant stakeholders on timely basis.
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
- Ensure thorough compliance to FIFO/FEFO with regard to issues.
- Be in charge of all the stocks in the warehouse.
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
- Coordinate the handling of forklift, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
- Manage Store helpers and assigned related tasks for the stores helpers.
- Ensure all the stored goods are methodically arranged and maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Load and unload lorries with effectively and timely.
- Ensure all SOPs are maintained and followed.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Stores/ Warehouse management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment, in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge in inventory management systems and MS Office.
- Good understanding of GMP, Quality, and ESH requirements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Candidates residing in or around Panadura are preferred.
