CREDIT & RECEIVABLES SPECIALIST
Wurth Lanka (PVT) LTD, a fully owned subsidiary of Würth Group Germany, is looking for a dynamic and passionate CREDIT & RECEIVABLES SPECIALIST to join our team at the Head Office - Makumbura.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct customer visits and follow up on timely collections.
- Monitor outstanding balances, credit limits, and payment commitments.
- Identify overdue and high-risk customer accounts.
- Take proactive action to minimize credit and commercial risks.
- Follow up on delayed payments and collection related issues.
- Negotiate and secure realistic payment commitments.
- Escalate long-outstanding and high-risk accounts.
- Maintain accurate collection and follow-up records.
- Monitor collection performance and update management.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and other relevant departments to resolve issues.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Relevant background in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in Credit Control, Debt Collection, Sales, or similar roles.
- Strong experience in customer handling, collections, and payment recovery.
- Good knowledge of credit risk and collection processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct field visits and manage accounts independently.
- Proficient in MS Office with good coordination skills.
- Fluent in English & Sinhala; Tamil is an added advantage.
- Preferred age: 35-45 years.
