VACANCY - SOLAR SERVICE ENGINEER
IWS Investment (Private) Limited is a subsidiary of IWS Holdings (Private) Ltd - a diversified group of companies. Is looking for a talented individual to join our team, to provide technical support and maintain solar plants. The role includes daily tasks such as diagnosing and resolving issues with solar systems, providing technical assistance, performing regular maintenance checks, and ensuring optimal performance of the solar installations
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance of solar panels, inverters and other related equipment
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Review maintenance records and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to enhance productivity, reliability, and performance of solar and storage plants.
- Develop models for operational costs and prepare business cases for plant improvements and retrofits.
- Manage projects and contractors related to engineering system enhancements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- To maintain occupational health and safety standards at work site.
- Reporting to management on solar generation from each plant.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 - 5 years of relevant technical experience, with a focus on solar and storage power generation.
- Hands on experience in solar generation installation, designing and maintenance
- Field service and Technical Support experience will be added qualification.
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems design and operation.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical power systems, particularly inverters.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Possess a valid driving licenses and willingness to travel out station to the sites as and when required
- Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Power point for reporting/presentations
