About Me

I’m Uvini Amaya Sumanarathna. For my primary education, I went to Anula Vidyalaya and I did my Al’s in commerce. After that, I started my higher studies at NIBM. I completed my diploma in computer systems design and higher diploma in computer based Information Systems. Then I started my internship as a web developer at Aqua Technologies pvt Ltd. After that I successfully completed my bachelor’s In Management Information Systems offered by a University College of Dublin. I started my career as a Digital Marketing Executive at Ahasa Advertising. This job meshed perfectly with my Planing and Analytical Skills. From there, I moved on to become a Junior Software Developer at BE IT pvt Ltd as known as the Best ERP development companies in Sri Lanka.I engaged in backend and fronted implementation of multiple erp systems for renowned organizations .This job gave me an extremely broad base of technical knowledge that covered programming in multiple languages, system administration and regular interaction with customers to resolve their technical issues and system failures. You can see the a career break in my resume. This because I was in Australia from the middle of last year because I had to attend to a personal matter as most of my family members are living there .After came back to SL I got an opportunity to join myPOS software solutions. I used Bitrix24 and Trello organize team logistics and Gantt charts to meet project goals. I Tracked meetings, schedules, deadlines and budgets on a 12 team member project that finished 2 weeks early and 13% under budget. I Compiled 40+ highly-detailed, complex regulatory documents on a monthly basis that were clear, accurate, and consistent. Now I feel ready to take my career to the next level. that’s why I’m looking for a new opportunity, so I can learn more about the industry and do something I’m passionate about.
