MANAGER - FINANCE
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day financial operations, accounting functions, and finance personnel.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with reporting standards.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
- Collaborate closely with Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and E-commerce teams to monitor and control costs.
- Ensure full compliance with tax obligations, regulatory requirements, and statutory audits.
- Analyze financial data, variance reports, and operational KPIs to identify cost-saving opportunities and boost profitability.
- Maintain and enhance robust internal financial controls, policies, and enterprise accounting systems.
- Manage banking operations, vendor payments, and credit control functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, along with full/part qualification in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, reporting standards, and accounting software/ERPs.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
