SENIOR DESIGNER / DESIGNER
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, sketch, and design trend-forward fashion apparel and seasonal collections for the brand.
- Research global fashion trends, market demands, color palettes, fabrics, and trims to translate into innovative concepts.
- Develop detailed tech packs, flat sketches, and garment specifications for product sampling and production.
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Pattern Making, and Production teams to ensure sample accuracy and quality fit.
- Oversee the design process from initial concept to final production, ensuring brand alignment throughout.
- Select and source appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments aligned with target costs and quality standards.
- Monitor market response, best-selling styles, and competitor offerings to continually refine collection designs.
- Mentor and guide junior design staff (for Senior Designer role) to maintain high creative standards.
Requirements
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fashion/apparel design (5+ years for Senior Designer role).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative flair, technical design capability, and garment construction knowledge.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and garment tech pack creation.
- Deep passion for fashion trends, textiles, and retail apparel design.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
