Assistant Manager - Health & Safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor workplace health & safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Maintain proper documentation related to safety compliance.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and internal departments on safety matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum 03 years’ experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
- Sound knowledge of local safety regulations and standards.
- Professional qualifications such as NEBOSH / IOSH will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
