VACANCY
The Wheel Works (Pvt) Ltd is a successful Export Manufacturing company located in the Biyagama Export Processing Zone.
The company seeks to employ the services of a dynamic person to fill the vacancy below.
The selected candidate should possess dedication and demonstrate Skills and knowhow and show the ability to take on the responsibilities requiring leadership qualities. Should have the ability to perform and support the manufacturing operations.
POST OF SENIOR ENGINEER
Successful candidate should ideally have;
- BSc, NDES or NDT and/or Mechatronics.
- Minimum of 10 years working experience in manufacturing/production environment preferably repair, & maintenance of Mixers, Mills, Hydraulic presses, and Injection Moulding machineries.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving machine breakdowns in a polymer products manufacturing environment is a strong added advantage.
- Knowledge in Formulating and implementing proper maintenance management systems.
- Experience in designing and managing the mechanical aspects of modifications, upgrades, developments and new installations of the machines.
- Ability in commissioning plant & machinery to fulfil production requirements.
- Very sound IT literacy including engineering aspect is preferable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work in challenging environments.
- Experience in operating and in the maintenance of Boilers, Compressors, Chillers, and other production auxiliaries.
- Be able to work and manage a 24 hr manufacturing environment and interact with all working levels as may be required.
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
