Job Description
The QA/QC Coordinator - Cutting Section is responsible for raw material/sailcloth inspection, cutting accuracy, defect identification, rejection control, and material traceability. The role maintains accurate quality records, supports Final QC data, and coordinates with relevant teams to resolve quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Cutting QA/QC systems and records.
- Verify RM inspection data and traceability.
- Control cloth defects, damage, and rejections.
- Maintain samples of major and recurring defects.
- Coordinate control of rejected and quarantined materials.
- Maintain accurate Final QC data and records.
- Prepare Cutting quality reports and KPIs.
- Drive QC compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) in science stream or equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge of cloth quality, fabric defects, inspection requirements, and rejection control.
- Good computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Excel, data entry, and digital record management.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Good documentation, record-keeping, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and ownership of assigned activities.
