Trainee Videographer
We are a leading vehicle service provider in Biyagama, offering comprehensive vehicle repair and maintenance solutions. We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented candidate for the post of Trainee Videographer to support our marketing operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, shooting, and producing video content for the company.
- Operate cameras, mobile devices, lighting, and other video equipment.
- Record high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, promotions, and company activities.
- Edit videos using video editing software and prepare content according to required formats.
- Create engaging video content for platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Assist in developing creative concepts, scripts, storyboards, and video ideas.
- Capture photographs and videos of company events, vehicle repairs, services, and promotional activities.
- Add suitable music, captions, transitions, graphics, and other elements to videos.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and other departments to understand content requirements.
- Maintain and organize video files, footage, project files, and other media assets.
- Ensure all video content is produced according to the company's brand guidelines.
- Perform multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
Experience and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of videography, photography, and video production.
- Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software.
- Basic knowledge of camera settings, lighting, framing, composition, and audio recording.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new and engaging video ideas.
- Good understanding of social media video content and current trends.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A portfolio of previous video/photo work will be an added advantage.
- Professional qualifications or courses related to Videography, Photography, Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Age below 30 years.
Working Conditions
- Office-based position with occasional outdoor marketing activities.
- May require flexible working hours during campaigns and promotional events.
- Attractive salary package will be offered depending on experience & capability.
- Working Hours Tuesday to Sunday 7.45 AM - 5.30 PM
- Applicants must reside in Biyagama, Kelaniya, Kiribathgoda, Kaduwela areas.
