I am an intermediate-year law student at Sri Lanka Law College, actively engaged in various academic and extracurricular activities that have helped me develop a strong foundation in legal research, oral advocacy, and case analysis. My involvement in moot court competitions and event management has honed my critical thinking and coordination skills, allowing me to contribute effectively in team settings.
Throughout my educational journey, I have balanced my academic pursuits with leadership roles, such as serving as the Chairperson of LitFest 2024, Head of Public Relations for Victors’ Moot 2024, and Deputy PR Head for Hulftsdorp Debates 2024. These roles have given me valuable experience in managing public relations, coordinating events, and working collaboratively with peers.
I have also participated in several notable moot court competitions, including the Bunty De Soyza Memorial Moot Competition, which focused on criminal law, as well as a commercial arbitration moot and an investor-state dispute moot court competition. To further enhance my expertise, I am currently following an International Trade Law program to prepare for the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition.
In addition to my studies, I have gained practical experience through internships, including one with the Sri Lanka Agripreneurs’ Forum, where I contributed to initiatives like the Agcelerator program. My work has also included volunteering for several key events, such as Victor’s Moot and Hulftsdorp Debates.
With a background in teaching and a strong commitment to further developing my legal and advocacy skills, I am dedicated to making meaningful contributions to the legal field and pursuing opportunities that align with my professional goals.
