In 2017, DSSC acknowledged me as the Most Outstanding Student in the Physical Science stream, by awarding me The Tariq Muthaliph Memorial Trophy emphasizing my competence in both academia and sports.
During my university journey, I actively immersed myself in a diverse range of experiences that significantly enriched both my academic and personal growth. Notable achievements include securing the 1st Runners-Up position in the Poster Presentation Competition at VOYAGE 2023 - Chemical and Process Engineering Undergraduate Research Symposium and achieving the same position in the SCaPES PROMODE 2021 (Process Engineering Competition). In addition to my academic pursuits, I held key leadership roles as the Vice President and Editor in the Society of Chemical and Process Engineering Students (SCaPES) Executive Committee for two terms. Beyond academia, I contributed to the University Chess Team and engaged in impactful projects with AIESEC at the University of Peradeniya, notably serving as the Team Leader for various IGV projects, such as Blue Marble and Be Sri Lankan, earning recognition as a nominated Best IGVer.
