Senior Process Associate – Finance & Accounting (Accounts Receivable & Collections)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting.
- Completed or following a Finance/Accounting degree or a professional qualification CA / ACCA / CIMA / CMA / AAT or CPA.
- Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Bookkeeping, Account Reconciliations, and Financial Statement Preparation.
- Experience in customer collections, credit control, or finance operations will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and data analysis.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala is required. Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Ensuring SLAs are met.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer premises when required.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer invoicing, payment receipting, and account updates.
- Follow up with customers on outstanding payments and share account statements.
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate customer master data.
- Apply collection procedures, including late payment charges, payment notices, and service disconnections.
- Respond to customer billing and payment-related inquiries.
- Ensure KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved.
- Visit customer premises when required to support collection activities.
