INTERN— QUALITY ASSURANCE
We are on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join Trischel Fabric (Pty) Ltd as an Intern – Quality Assurance. In this role, you will support the Quality Assurance team in monitoring and maintaining product quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. The primary objective of this role is to gain practical exposure to quality control procedures, inspection processes, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer quality requirements are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Quality Assurance team in monitoring quality standards throughout the fabric manufacturing process.
- Assist in conducting fabric inspections, quality checks, and maintaining inspection records.
- Support the analysis of quality issues and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing quality reports, documentation, and maintaining quality-related records.
- Collaborate with Production, Technical, Laboratory, and other relevant teams to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Support internal quality audits and continuous improvement activities.
Qualification and Experience:
- Undergraduate pursuing a Degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Apparel Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of textile manufacturing processes and quality assurance concepts will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills in English with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
