INTERN - LOGISTICS
Keells Food Products PLC, a fully owned subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC, is looking for an Intern – Logistics who is a team player, detail oriented, self-driven and can work with a wide array of people.
Keells Food Products PLC is the country’s market leader in processed meat products and has held this position for over three decades. Our company possesses ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System Certifications. The Company manufactures a range of sausages, meatballs, hams, crumbed products, and soya range products under the "Elephant House" and "Keells Krest" brands.
The selected candidate will be familiar with:
- Follow up on the timely process of inbound and outbound goods, physically and on the system.
- Oversee the ‘GRN’ and ‘GDN’ for FG’s, ensuring that the relevant information is filled in and fed into the SAP system.
- System return Pass & Ensure 100% system accuracy by checking the physical against the system stocks and conducting cycle counts.
- Follow up on FIFO, FEFO, Aging monitoring and Pest control overseen.
- Oversee the route planning and distribution operation.
- Regular inspection of protection measures, good material handling practices, and the working condition of machinery to ensure that the environmental, safety, and health standards of the organization are adhered to.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Logistics, Warehouse or Supply Chain relevant qualification.
- Well conversant in MS Office Excel
- Be an excellent communicator with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
