EXECUTIVE - TAX
Dipped Products PLC seeks a dynamic, results-oriented individual to be recruited as an Executive-Tax for its Head Office in Colombo.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify tax computations and statutory payments/Refunds under (IT, VAT, SSCL, STAMP DUTY and other applicable taxes) for assigned Group companies.
- Ensure timely and accurate Tax return filings, in compliance with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) regulations.
- Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department to resolve tax-related queries and support tax assessments when required.
- Prepare quarterly tax compliance reports for Group companies and monitor statutory compliance.
- Assist in developing and implementing Group tax planning initiatives to maximise tax efficiencies.
- Conduct tax compliance reviews and audits across Group companies.
- Analyse IRD assessments and assist in preparing appeals where necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree specialising in Accounting/Finance from a recognised University
- Full / Part qualification in CASL/ CIMA/ ACCA/ AAT is a definite advantage
- Minimum 2+ experience in all kinds of Tax handling and proper communication with IRD.
- Exposure to SAP would be a definite advantage
- An analytical mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments.
