This role requires working from 4:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (Monday to Friday), Sri Lanka time, to effectively support our Australian clients. Position Responsibilities
- Accurate, efficient, and timely processing of payroll, cash books, accounts payable, cash flow forecasting, maintaining general ledgers and management reporting.
- Preparation of periodic statutory returns
- Reviewing Accounts Payable and Receivable allocations, bank reconciliation allocations and payroll processing
- Continually challenge, develop, and maintain best practice systems and processes
Skills and qualities of the successful candidate
- Minimum of three years’ experience in public accounting of Australian company/BPO
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
- Extensive experience with Xero (Absolute must)
- Experience in an audit/review role
- General Australian tax knowledge
- Proactive and positive attitude to work
- Strong communication skills - ability to build rapport and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent time management in meeting internal and external deadlines
