Service Advisor
DPMC WORKSHOP AMPARA / MONARAGA
Responsibilities
- Handle customer complaints and, catalogue customer concerns and comments.
- Writing service orders and descriptions of problems and repairs.
- Translating customers' repair problems into standard repair terminology.
- Test-driving vehicles to confirm the effectiveness of the service repairs and explaining the repairs to customers.
- Coordinate and carry out promotional activities for the Workshop.
Requirements
- A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Motor Mechanic or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- 2-3 years hands on experience in automotive body repair and paint.
- Knowledge and experience in using computer based diagnostic tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel / MS Word / MS PowerPoint) coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in software related to the industry.
- Strong organizational, decision-making and communication skills in English and Sinhala.
